The International Telescope Meeting (ITT) is THE event for hobby and amateur astronomers in the entire German-speaking region. This year the meeting will again take place on the Emberger Alm in the Upper Drau Valley.

Not least because both the astronomical and gastronomical conditions here are better than at most comparable places in Austria. The event offers something for everyone - whether observer, astrophotographer, individualist or socialite, everyone will find their place here. There is an attractive and varied social programme with lectures, workshops, special walks. Detailed programme will follow. 

The meeting has long been a traditional event in climatically favoured Carinthia and is a popular meeting place every year for star enthusiasts and dealers from Austria and neighbouring countries. This year, the organisers expect about 200 participants and just as many telescopes, for which there is plenty of space on the extensive alpine pasture area around the three inns. There is no stray light on the Emberger Alm.

The inns are already prepared for amateur astronomers and have taken precautions not to disturb the astronomers. Those interested and curious from the surrounding area will have the opportunity to see what is going on at the Emberger Alm.
