Das Hotel Edelweiss liegt im malerischen Hochtal des Höhenluftkurortes Mallnitz auf ca. 1.200 m Seehöhe in der Nationalpark-Region Hohe Tauern.

Das bereits im 18. Jahrhundert erbaute Haus wurde 2010 vollständig renoviert, wobei bei den Umbauarbeiten darauf geachtet wurde, den charakteristischen Landhausstil zu erhalten. Nun verbindet das Hotel die Vorzüge eines modernen Hotelbetriebes mit traditionellen Werten.
Ob in einem unserer 15 Hotelzimmer oder in den vier Appartements im Nebenhaus, am reichlich gedeckten Tisch, in der großzügigen Wellness-Oase, im südseitig gelegenen Garten- Wohlfühlen, Genießen und Gemütlichkeit stehen bei uns an oberster Stelle. Abendunterhaltung in der gemütlichen Stube, Hotelbar oder im Spielsalon mit Pool-Billard runden Ihren Aufenthalt bei uns ab.

Mallnitz hat als Nationalpark-Gemeinde seinen Gästen sehr viel zu bieten. Wanderungen à la carte: Je nach Lust und Laune auf den ebenen Talböden oder auf sanften Almen. Für jene, die hoch hinaus wollen, ist die Welt der Dreitausender reserviert, welche rund um Mallnitz in den Himmel empor ragen.

Hotel-Pension Edelweiss combines the amenities of a modern hotel with traditional values. The building that dates back to the 18th century was completely renovated in 2010, but preserved it's typical rustic style.
The Alpine-style hotel restaurant is designed for 30 people; there is also a small bar and a comfortable lobby awaiting our guests. The wellness area is equipped with infrared sauna, steam sauna, steam bath, showers and two cozy whirlpools.

Mallnitz offers its guests as a National Park village a lot: guided nature tours accompanied by specialists in the fields of botany, fauna, water, culture and geology, “nature-oriented educational tourism” that open the eye for trifles and inanities around us and let them resurge in a new dimension.
The region in and around Mallnitz features small old mills, a 200 year old special type of farmhouse, the Venetian sawmill in the Dösen Valley and the Tauern house below the Hagener Hut, all of which are worth a visit.
